Yes, Arizona is the Valentine State because it was admitted to the union on February 14th! How sweet is that?

One of the sweetest spots and popular destination is Sedona. Just the name brings to mind pictures of red colored buttes and mesas. It’s said that Sedona has a special frequency – a vortex or area of concentrated energy rising from the earth. Some believe that the vortexes are a portal for celestial and terrestrial spirits and that there are several that exist around Sedona. Tours to the areas are available.

In recent years Sedona has blossomed into a top destination for those seeking healing, enlightenment, connecting to the universe and themselves. You will find world class spas and wellness centers here along with restaurants that specialize in healthy foods.

While many travel here for serenity others come for the world class hotels, dining and shopping. No matter what your passion is, Sedona can probably fulfill it!

For you adventurers the possibilities are endless! And, if you are RVing to the area, take a look at Rancho Sedona. This RV Park is situated on the Oak Creek, among the shade of cottonwoods and sycamore trees and surrounded by red rock buttes.

Rancho Sedona is open year round and offers digital cable, free wi-fi, full hook ups, concrete patios and a nice laundry room. Activities within walking distance include fishing, hiking, swimming, and mountain biking. Relax in their spa or play a few rounds of golf on the course.

If your budget isn’t up there with the Rich and Famous, there’s local Cheap Eats too like the Oak Creek Brewery and Grill. The village is only a few minutes from the RV Park and worth visiting.

Shopping

Shopping in Sedona is an experience as well. This area is ripe with one of a kind boutiques where you will find antiques, furniture, hand crafted clothing, collectibles and gifts. Not sure whether to buy that item? Check with one of the psychics, aura/palm readers behind the curtains of many of the crystal and vortex shops.

Sedona has 5 major shopping districts. Start in Uptown Sedona—Sedona’s most-popular shopping & dining district.  Browse the eclectic shops along Main Street and enjoy the open-air shopping plazas like The Shops at Pinon Pointe and Sinaqua Plaza.
