Surrounded by towering redwood tree covered mountains near Garberville, California, Benbow offers the finest in service, facilities and recreational activities for the whole family in a remote, small town.
All sites are paved and have lawns, a patio with picnic table and full hookups, including cable TV.
Benbow has focused on providing play areas for the kids and now there are splash pads, playground, along with a train and much more.
Most of the sites have trees, however there are treeless sites available for those who would prefer full sun or need satellite reception. For those needing to have 50 amp power, sites are available in both back-in and pull-throughs. Guests wanting the ultimate site should inquire about one of the prime sites. All prime sites have 50 amp power, patio furniture (in addition to a picnic table), and are treated to daily complimentary Tea and Scones at the Benbow Hotel. That’s a nice perk!
The Benbow Golf Course is a challenging nine hole, par-35 course that’s meticulously tended and features great views. There are two sets of tees for those players who want to play 18 holes.
Guests of Benbow RV Park have a special green fee that gives you unlimited play for the entire day. The rental department will outfit you for a day on the course with clubs for men, women and juniors (both left and right hand players), gas or hand push golf carts and the pro shop sells any other essential items needed for play.
After a full round or day of golfing, take a refreshing dip in the sparkling pool, soak in the spa, or spend the remainder of the day sitting by the river.
But, it’s not all about golf!
The area is full of things to do: Shopping, Gaming, Art and Culture, Historic Towns and Villages, performing arts, beaches and water sports, birding and wildlife and so much more.
