Often referred to as Savannah’s Beach, Tybee Island offers visitors a place for all seasons with sandy beaches, great fishing, and rich history at every turn, an iconic lighthouse, and tons of cute shops to explore, Tybee Island is a Georgia coastal vacation destination.

Get into the spirit of the Holiday Season and enjoy the Potluck style Thanksgiving dinner at the River’s End Campground where you bring your favorite side dish and the park provides the turkey and ham! It’s fun to discover your next go-to buffet dish and not have to do all the cooking and cleaning afterwards.

River’s End Campground is a fantastic home base for exploring it all – just a few short blocks from the beach (approx. 1/2 mile) and an easy 15 mile drive to historic downtown Savannah.

River’s End offers standard and Preferred sites, all with full hook ups. Every site in the park is different so it might be best to call and speak with the reservation manager to make sure your rig will fit the site and your family.

Have family with no RV? They – or you – can still enjoy the park with a cabin rental. Each cabin has sleeping accommodations for a maximum of six individuals. These are basic accommodations and you will need to bring your own linens and any other items you may need for your stay.

If you’re visiting Savannah during the Holiday Season, be sure to experience the Savannah Christmas Market in the Plant Riverside District. Experience one of Savannah’s merriest holiday traditions at Plant Riverside District! The Savannah Christmas Market will sparkle with holiday charm from Friday, November 25 through Monday, January 1. With exciting family-friendly celebrations taking place all season long, visitors of Plant Riverside can enjoy complimentary activities like live holiday music, exciting street performances, seasonal food specials and exclusive holiday market vendors along Savannah’s Waterfront.

Have a lovely Holiday in Savannah and Tybee Island!
