This park can accommodate watercraft of many styles and sizes: kayaks, jet skis, pontoons, sailboats, ski boats, cruisers, and houseboats. The park encouraged you to boat safe and smart and always wear you life jacket. It also features sandy beaches, restrooms, picnic areas, playgrounds, and developed sites with electric and water hook-ups for RV’s.
Elephant Butte Lake State Park is open Thursday-Sunday, 6am-8pm. The two areas open for day use access is Main Area and Rock Canyon.

Hiking
