Boating
While boating is currently closed, this is one of the most popular activities that people come to the park to enjoy. From water skiing to sailing to paddle boarding and fishing, there are many activities to partake in on the water. Motorized & sail vessels are only allowed on the primary reservoir and prohibited on any other pond or body of water within the park. To boat on the reservoir, a pre-launch boat inspection for Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) is MANDATORY for all motorized vessels and trailered vessels. A current boat registration and the new ANS stamp are also required on all vessels prior to launch.
Camping
Camping is a must at Chatfield. Both RV and tent camping are welcome. There are 197 campsites, all with electrical hookups. Many also come with full hookups (water, sewer and electric). There are ten group camp areas, which means you can get away and plan a camping trip with your friends and family.
