Originally fro Oaxaca, Mexico – Augustine “Augie” Aragon says one of the top highlights of his life was becoming an American citizen. Others were his first parachute jump as a member of the United States Air Force and becoming a father.
Although Augie did not have much experience when hired, he quickly jumped in to learn all that he could as quickly as he could. He is now a Certified Technician who loves working with customers when showing them around their new RV. You will find him up early each day with a cup of coffee and cookies to get going. Augie has been with us for 19 years and says his wish is “to be healthy enough to continue to work at Rocky Mountain for another 10 years”! We wish the same!
When not working hard in the service department, he spends time with his large family, sneaking in some short fishing trips and visiting his property in northern New Mexico. He’s also a closet chef, or was until now! He loves menudo and beef tongue tacos but won’t admit if he cooks them or not.
Returning to Oaxaca, a retirement trip to Alaska and taking a ride on the Sandia Peak Tramway are a couple of things on his bucket list. His Mother and siblings still live in Mexico and visiting his Mom makes him the happiest!
